Hi again, I’m Bénédicte. Thank you for being here.
I’m a multidisciplinary Haitian artist. I grew up in Haiti and studied International Relations and Diplomacy in the Dominican Republic. My interest in art appeared at a very young age, and I acquired my skills by experimenting and studying some techniques by myself.
If you ever wondered why I use the name Busy sometimes, It’s simply because it’s a homonyme of my initials. Yeah, that’s it.
As an artist, I love to try different things and surprise myself, that's where all the fun lies. You'll find a variety of materials and media among my work, but for now, watercolor and acrylics are my favorite. As for style, I let myself go. That's my principle for now. I allow myself to explore a little, to make "mistakes," and I rarely strive for exactitude.
My work combines both traditional and digital, and oftentimes I mix them just for fun. This is what I call "enhancements": painting over my prints or modifying my originals digitally. So whenever you see the word "enhanced", that’s what I mean.
